Contactual's On-Demand Contact Center Software Now Interoperable with Sylantro's Synergy Platform

September 13, 2007

Contactual’s on-demand contact center software is now compatible with Sylantro’s Synergy platform. In addition, Contactual is now a Silver Level sponsor of the Sylantro Global Summit.

The deal means customers of both companies have the option of running Contactual’s flexible, full-featured contact center solutions on the Sylantro Synergy platform, which enables the delivery of rich hosted IP communication services across fixed, mobile, and cable networks. Specifically designed for network operators, the platform can be used to host a wide range of differentiated communications applications and accelerate their delivery to business and consumer markets. Offering hosted and mobile PBX applications, IP Trunking services and innovative consumer applications, this carrier-grade solution is capable of supporting hundreds of thousands of subscribers in a highly distributed network.

“By supporting the interoperability of our joint solutions we are expanding the addressable market of our partners,” said Mansour Salame, CEO, Contactual, Inc., in a press release. “We are delighted to be part of the Sylantro ecosystem and to be offering our solution to the leading service providers that have committed added value strategies to the Sylantro platform.”

John Trobough, SVP of solutions for Sylantro Systems, said Contactual’s OnDemand Contact Center “is a perfect extension to the Sylantro Hosted Voice offerings and will allow our service provider partners to significantly increase the footprint of their offerings.”

Salame will be a speaker at the Sylantro Global Summit on the panel “Synergy Ecosystem Solutions.” The summit, taking place Sept. 30 through Oct. 2 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, is an annual gathering of service providers and communications executives focused on addressing carrier transformation. Areas of focus include hosted voice, mobility and Web services, as well as the latest in applications, unified communications and collaboration. Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to real stories about FMC and IMS implementations.

Contactual last made news on ContactCenterSolutions in early August when it announced that it had teamed up with 8x8 Inc., provider of the Packet8 VoIP service, to deliver a new, fully integrated hosted call center solution to the market. The Packet8 Complete Contact Center is designed specifically for the SMB market and is ideal for call centers with less than 100 seats. The service, which works with any broadband Internet service, provides enterprise class contact center functionality combined with Virtual Office hosted iPBX calling features and Packet8’s cost efficient business VoIP calling plans. The new turn-key service offers a full slate of contact center features and functions, including skills-based routing, multi-media management, real time monitoring and reporting; voice recording and logging; historical reporting; IVR and CRM integration.
