ESI Hires Clifton Ho as Vice President of Global Sales and Service

PORTLAND, Ore., April 11, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Electro Scientific Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq:ESIO), an innovator in laser-based manufacturing solutions for the micro-machining industry, today announced that Clifton Ho has joined the company as Vice President of Global Sales and Service, based in Asia, effective April 3.

Mr. Ho brings a strong background in technology sales and sales leadership with a focus on Asian markets. His experience includes nearly three decades in semiconductor-related sales and marketing in Asia. Prior to joining ESI, Clifton spent seven years as Vice President, Asia Pacific Sales at Intersil Corporation, a provider of power management solutions, where he managed an extensive sales organization across Asia. Before joining Intersil he served for eight years in various management roles at National Semiconductor, where he was General Manager for hina Sales from 2006 to 2010, and Director of Marketing for Asia Pacific from 2002 to 2006. His other experience includes Director of Asia Sales at QuickLogic Corporation.
