InMoment Launches "Faces of CX" Instagram Account to Celebrate Customer Experience Champions


InMoment™ is putting a face to the names behind great customer experience (CX) with the launch of Faces of CX, an Instagram account designed to highlight the people who go above and beyond to create memorable experiences for customers.

All CX professionals, organizations and customers are invited to participate by sending photos and captions of up to 2200 characters to [email protected]. The information will be posted to the Faces of CX Instagram page with the hashtag #FacesOfCX.

The account was introduced in support of CX Day, a global celebration of the companies and professionals that create great experiences for their customers. The third annual CX Day takes place on October 6, and was conceived by the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA), the premier global non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and cultivation of the Customer Experience profession. October 5 - 9 is also Customer Service Week, an international celebration of the importance of customer service and the people who serve and support customers on a daily basis.

The concept of taking care of customers has been around since humans began exchanging goods and services. The advent of the Internet opened a global marketplace and nearly unlimited options for buyers, along with the ability to share their experiences with milions through online reviews. This shift has required organizations to move beyond simply serving customers, toward achieving distinct, positive experiences at every interaction.



Today, customer experience is an essential business strategy. According to Jerry Gregoire, former CIO of Dell (News - Alert) Inc., "The customer experience is the next competitive battleground."
