Revolabs Begins Shipping IP & USB Unified Communications Conference Phone with Extension Microphones

Revolabs®, the premier provider of audio solutions for unified communications (UC), enterprise collaboration, and professional audio applications, announced today it has begun shipping the latest addition to its award-winning FLX™ family, the FLX™ UC 1500 IP & USB Conference Phone (News - Alert) with Extension Microphones. This new phone supports use in larger conference rooms than earlier FLX offerings by including two extension microphones to create a wider pick-up range. Its high-performance speaker also gives it more powerful sound output to fill larger spaces.

Using the same superior audio technology as the earlier FLX UC 500 USB conference phone and the FLX UC 1000 USB & IP conference phones, the FLX UC 1500 supports USB audio for softphone calls and SIP telephony for all market leading IP PBXs and features call bridging between VoIP and USB calls. System implementers can use the FLX UC 1500 to configure an all-in-one solution that provides superior audio clarity.

"The FLX UC 1500 makes collaborating with colleagues located anywhere around the world simpler than ever before. It offers any caller, in any PC or VoIP environment within meeting spaces of up to 18 participants, a way to take advantage of the most flexible, powerful integrated audio technology available. Moreover, it's very easy to set up and operate and provides unrivaled audio quality," said JP Carney, CEO, Revolabs (News - Alert). "Its seamless conference bridging and new extension microphones make the FLX UC 1500 the first all-inclusive audio UC solution tailored for larger conferencing settings."

The FLX UC 1500 is built with premium tweeter and mid-woofer elements, four embedded microphones, two extension microphones, and integrated acoustic echo cancellation. It's designed to provide ultra-wideband frequency response to bring crystal-clear audio to conference calls, desktop audio, or PC communication tools, whether on premise or in the cloud. The FLX UC 1500 features a convenient dialer with a 3.5-inch color display and USB support, which makes it easy to connect to any PC, Mac®, or Chromebook™ for use with Skype (News - Alert)™, Microsoft® Lync®, Vidyo®, WebEx®, and other communication applications.

The FLX UC 1500's performance was "field-ested" in a variety of modern conference room settings, including those with reverberating glass walls, hardwood tables and floors, and other auditory challenges. In each one, it delivered industry-leading call clarity, quality, and volume. The phone's new extension microphones and upgraded echo cancellation are just the latest demonstrations of how Revolabs continues to lead in the UC conference phone market.
