Innotrac Releases Findings from SmartHub® Holiday Benchmarking Studies


ATLANTA, Feb. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Innotrac Corporation, a best-in-class commerce provider integrating digital technology, fulfillment, contact center and business intelligence solutions, today announced the release of a special SmartHub® study focused on the 2014 eCommerce holiday season.

SmartHub® Benchmarking, Innotrac's proprietary industry benchmarking tool, provides clients and strategic partners with intelligence and analysis of the online retail purchase cycle. The studies evaluate over 230 leading merchants across 95 data points, tracking the entire eCommerce experience from ordering, to shipping, packaging, customer service, and returns.  

Between November 27th and December 24th, SmartHub® looked at which retailer categories reduced order processing time, which group offered the highest rate of free shipping and which promotions were the most popular on Cyber Monday.  A total of three special studies were conducted:

  • SmartHub® 4.5: Cyber Monday – one of the major SmartHub® releases, evaluating online merchants across 95 data points from order placement to package receipt and return.
  • SmartHub® Special Study: Holiday Promotions – a survey of 230 leading retail websites, documenting the romotions featured during the three busiest online shopping days of the year.
  • SmartHub® Special Study: Holiday Shipping Deadlines – a highly targeted study that tracked 92 retailer sites with prominently displayed holiday delivery promise dates.
