ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 25 -- AT&T Intellectual Property I, Atlanta, has been assigned a patent (8,761,040) developed by three co-inventors for "[c]ontrolling registration floods in VoIP networks via DNS." The co-inventors are James E. Jackson, Austin, Texas, Chaoxin Qiu, Austin, Texas, and Mehrad Yasrebi, Austin, Texas.
