Spok Directions User Group Grows to 300 Members, Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

MINNEAPOLIS --(Business Wire)--

Spok, Inc. today announced that July marks the one-year anniversary of its Spok Directions User Group. Spok Directions is a formal group of Spok software customers brought together to influence the Company's product direction through the discussion of industry best practices and trends. The group was created to give customers an effective forum for input into the Spok product cycle.

"Not only does Spok Directions give our customers the opportunity to network and share their experiences and priorities," said Brian Edds, Spok's vice president of product strategy. "We can use that information when planning our product roadmap to develop products that support customer needs effectively. For example, through he group's feedback we've made changes to our secure texting app to create a more user friendly interface and have developed extensive training videos."

The group has grown quickly, now boasting more than 300 members who gather via online meetings to discuss various topics such as call center trends, secure smartphone communication, clinical alerting, and related areas. Meetings are held monthly and members can attend any or all sessions based on their interest.
