eGain wins contract to provide real-time customer service across touchpoints

eGain, a provider of cloud-based customer engagement solutions, has announced that an operator of government health and human services programs has selected eGain Cloud to provide real-time customer service across touchpoints.
According to the company, the initial deployment will be eGain SuperChat, which includes chat and cobrowsing. With eGain SuperChat, the operator's contact center agents will be able to answer questions about healthcare options, guide the consumer though plan information, as well as collaborate to complete eligibility and enrollment forms.
Cobrowsing turns phone and chat interactions into rich multimedia experiences, and can increase online form completion rates by as much as 200%, the company said.
