BRIEF: Hoquiam Jail roster available onlineJul 06, 2013 (The Daily World - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The recently re-opened Hoquiam City Jail now has a website that shows the names of all offenders in custody as of 7 a.m. each day. The list, available online at cityofhoquiam.com/jail-roster, shows people held by the Hoquiam Municipal Court as well as probation offenders held for the state Department of Corrections. "We would appreciate citizens checking the website instead of calling the station to ask if someone is in custody or not," Police Chief Jeff Myers said, noting the jail staff cannot always answer the phone right away. ___ (c)2013 The Daily World, Aberdeen, Wash.
