It will demonstrate this capability during Cisco Live, Cisco's annual IT and communications conference in Orlando, Florida, June 23 – 27, 2013.

With the Cisco XNC, Radware composed a native SDN solution driven by DefenseFlow™ SDN application to offer comprehensive and cost-effective protection against emerging DDoS attack campaigns in Cisco SDN-enabled networks.


DefenseFlow™ is an SDN application that programs SDN-enabled networks to become part of the DDoS protection service itself, enabling operators to assign a DoS protection service per virtual network segment or per customer. It relies on the following components: Cisco XNC; Cisco switches and routers that are onePK and OpenFlow enabled; and Radware's DefenseFlow™ anti-DoS SDN application and DefensePro® attack mitigation solution. The result is complete abstraction of the Anti-DoS resource provisioning and alignment with network operations to provision, manage and monitor DoS protection as a service within the OpenFlow ecosystem.
