Echo Global Logistics appoints new chief technology officer

Mar 14, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Echo Global Logistics, Inc., a provider of technology-enabled transportation and supply chain management services, has named Michael Reed, interim chief technology officer, or CTO, as the new CTO of the company. He had served as interim CTO since April 2012.

Mr Reed began his tenure with Echo Global Logistics in 2007 as a Lead Application Developer, and has held several positions including the Director of Product Development and vice president, Information Technology.

Prior to joining Echo Global Logistics, Mr Reed co-founded Digerati Solutions, a privately owned software development and consulting company.
