First Advantage appoints new chief technology officer

Feb 22, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- First Advantage, a provider of talent acquisition solutions, has appointed Stefano Malnati as the company's new chief technology officer.

In this role, Malnati will leverage his background in managing the development of web-based enterprise applications.

Prior to joining First Advantage, Malnati served as senior vice president of Engineering for Vendavo, where he was responsible for leading the development of the company's price management and optimization software platform and solutions. He previously worked for HireRight, driving the expansion of its SaaS employment screening solutions as senior vice president of Engineering.

Earlier in his career, Malnati held executive-level positions with several software development companies, including ImpactXoft, TIBCO Software and Centric Software, working in collaborative development environments to create various business applications and software solutions for each organization.

Malnati joins First Advantage during a time of significant growth and expansion. The company has recently entered into an agreement to acquire the employee and resident screening business of LexisNexis Risk Solutions, making it the global leader in talent acquisition solutions.
