The tradeshow is put on by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Manufacturers exhibit at Houstex to showcase emerging technologies and to network with both manufacturers and service providers.

Houstex aligns well with the emerging technology and continuous improvement service offerings of Cerasis through their powerful freight technology tools. Exhibitors and attendees hail from the Oil and Gas Manufacturing industry, which expects double digit growth over the next year, according to world class accounting firm Deloitte. Additionally aligning well with Cerasis' objectives and goals are the exhibitors of manufacturers from such industries as aeronautics, medical research, and advanced technology.
