Sepaton Updates on Customer Wins [Professional Services Close - Up]
(Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Sepaton, Inc., a developer of enterprise backup and recovery solutions, has announced new major customer wins and key personnel appointments as it continues its EMEA expansion.
According to a release, one of Britain's high street retailers, one of Belgium's cable television operators; and the international arm of a global communications and ICT solutions provider are among the latest companies to protect their business-critical data with Sepaton's disk-based backup and recovery solutions.
Sepaton's enterprise data protection systems are specifically designed for the data intensive environments of large enterprises. The company is already trusted by the world's largest businesses, including FTSE 500 companies and other brands that backup tens to hundreds of terabytes of data each night.
Sepaton has also made several key appointments of senior staff in EMEA to meet the demand for its products. The company is adding experienced enterprise backup and recovery professionals to its team to maintain the highest quality of service to its customers.
Most recently, the firm appointed Mike Baker, who joins Sepaton as a senior EMEA sales executive. Mike is responsible for developing and closing new business across all European markets. Mike brings experience in the storage industry, gained through high-profile sales and leadership positions at Amdahl, Fujitsu, IBM and at Quantum, where he was expansion markets, area director. He reports to London-based, Tim Butchart, vice president, worldwide commercial sales.
