Mocana Inks Pact with SCSK to Roll Out Mocana Mobile App Protection Software in Japan

Feb 05, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Mocana, a company focusing on app and Android security, announced it has signed an agreement with Tokyo-based SCSK Corp. to resell Mocana Mobile App Protection (MAP) software in the Japanese market, beginning February 1.

According to a release, the agreement will enable SCSK to help Japanese enterprises to better exploit the BYOD trend, and help large organizations deploy more transformative apps, faster, to their stakeholders.

"The proliferation of mobile devices in Japan has created an exciting opportunity for Mocana MAP." Unfortunately, certifying that these new applications and platforms meet existing enterprise security and compliance standards is difficult and slow. Mocana MAP is the answer. MAP's app- wrapping technology enables enterprises and developers to secure applications without writing any code, simplifying large-scale app deployments in the complex and expanding multi-platform BYOD environments. MAP offers market-critical security features to protect company information such as per-application VPN capabilities and FIPS 140-2 encryption, both on iOS or Android. The result is a Self-Defending App that provides data protection and IT control for enterprise apps on both managed and unmanaged devices.
