MyPerfectAutomobile Evaluates the Importance of Subaru's First-Ever Hybrid Car

The car will mark the first time Subaru has produced a hybrid vehicle. Subaru will sell its new hybrid vehicle in both the U.S. and Japan. The company's storied Nismo racing division (Nis for Nissan, mo for motorsport) will be lending a bit of its look, but alas, none of its power, to an electric Leaf that is tuned by the Nismo engineers to deliver better aerodynamics. Nismo's top executive, Shoichi Miyatani, revealed the plans at Tokyo's recent Auto Salon event. So now, it is official; there will be a Nissan Leaf Nismo on sale in Japan sometime after June. For those who purchase the car for cash, Ford will reduce the base price by an additional $2,000. For buyers who wish to finance the vehicle, there is a 1.9 percent APR deal from Ford Motor Credit.
