Peter Rummell to Keynote Florida Venture Forum's 2013 Florida Venture Capital Conference

Jan 21, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- The Florida Venture Forum announced that Peter S. Rummell will serve as keynote speaker at the 22nd annual Florida Venture Capital Conference, which is to be held at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Golf Club in Ponte Vedra, Florida on January 31 - February 1.

According to a release, Rummell will speak on the topic of creativity in business and managing the creative process in a growing company. A Jacksonville resident, Rummell has served in several leadership and CEO posts, including as president of Disney Development Company, The Walt Disney Company's non-theme park development company, and Walt Disney Imagineering, the company's design and creative division responsible for theme park development. He has also served as chairman and chief executive officer of The St. Joe Company, and as chief executive officer of Nicklaus Companies, founded by golf legend Jack Nicklaus.

The 2013 Florida Venture Capital Conference will also feature presentations by more than 20 companies, chosen through a selection process, panel discussions on topics including Valuations, eCommerce and eTailing, and an in-depth look at the state of the venture capital industry by Mark Heesen, president of the National Venture Capital Association.
