Police log [The Herald-Sun, Durham, N.C.]

(Herald-Sun (Durham, NC) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Nov. 28--Church loses copper to thieves DURHAM -- Thieves stole $3,500 worth of copper piping from Trinity United Methodist Church at 215 Church St. in downtown Durham. The theft was reported to police Monday.

In other crime: -- A 31-year-old woman said she was robbed Monday in the 100 block of West Cornwallis Road. She said 90 prescription pills, $256 cash, a N.C. license, Social Security card and purse, with a total value of $403, were taken.

-- A trailer worth $500 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 1000 block of Aaron Circle.

-- Burglars broke into a house Monday in the 4500 block of Emerald Forest Drive and took a plastic bag with $55 in change and an electric shaver.

-- An Apple laptop computer, 46-inch Samsung LCD television, two rings and two bracelets valued at $4,499 were stolen Monday from a house in the 100 block of Stratford Lakes Drive.

-- Thieves took an Xbox and 12 Xbox games, Dell laptop computer and tablet computer worth $1,380 from a house in the 5300 block of Penrith Drive. The theft was reported to police Tuesday.

-- A break-in on Monday to a house in the 5900 block of Tattersail Drive netted thieves a briefcase, Sony television, Wii, Dell laptop computer, cell phone, jewelry and Nintendo gaming console. Total value of the property was $7,060.

-- An Extended Stay hotel on South Miami Boulevard was burglarized Sunday. Four televisions worth a total of $400 were taken.
