Comtech's subsidiary awarded USD1.2m SATCOM infrastructure equipment orderNov 27, 2012 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Provider of advanced communication solutions Comtech Telecommunications Corp (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced on Monday that Comtech EF Data Corp, its subsidiary, has received a USD1.2m order for satellite modems and demodulators from a major systems integrator. Reportedly the infrastructure equipment will be utilised by an international agency to support a global satellite-based network. The company said that the CDM-570-IPEN Satellite Modems and the CDD-564EN IP Demodulators were ordered, supplementing an installed base of Comtech EF Data equipment previously supplied to the same customer.
