Intel is Among the Companies in the Semiconductors Industry With the Highest Earnings Yield (INTC, HIMX, SPRD, SIMO, IXYS)

Nov 25, 2012 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Below are the three companies in the Semiconductors industry with the highest earnings yields. Earnings yield is useful to compare the relative benefit of owning a stock vs. owning other yield assets such as bonds. If the earnings yield is higher, stocks may be considered undervalued.Intel ranks highest with a an earnings yield of 11.8%. Himax Technologies is next with a an earnings yield of 11.3%. Spreadtrum Communications ranks third highest with a an earnings yield of 11.1%.

Silicon Motion Technology follows with a an earnings yield of 11.0%, and IXYS rounds out the top five with a an earnings yield of 7.6%.
