Mitel and OpenIP Team Up to Offer Cloud-Based Unified Communications to System Integrators and Resellers in France(GlobeNewswire - Canada Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) LEVALLOIS-PERRET, France, Oct. 16, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mitel® (Nasdaq:MITL) (TSX:MNW), a leading provider of cloud and on-premise unified communications and collaboration (UCC) solutions, today announced an agreement with the France-based service provider OpenIP which allows Mitel's cloud based UCC software platform to be integrated into OpenIP's cloud-based offering for system integrators and resellers in France. As a result of the integration, OpenIP will introduce a suite of new monthly subscription business communication services based on Mitel's cloud telephony offering. The new Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) offering will include four subscription options, enabling businesses to select the type of communications and collaboration tools best suited to individual needs. Subscription rates range from €6.60 to €15 per month, per user and include options that span from basic, including telephony and voice mail, to advanced, which includes teleworking, softphone, audio and video collaboration, unified messaging, and fixed-mobile convergence. Business customers will also have the freedom to modify subscriptions on a monthly basis.
