Lieberman Software's Product Tapped as Finalist
Aug 27, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Lieberman Software Corp. announced that Enterprise Random Password Manager (ERPM) has been recognized as a finalist in the 2012 Golden Bridge Awards, made in the USA software category.
"There are undeniable advantages for US government and military organizations - as well as any US commercial enterprise - to rely on security technologies that are developed and supported in the USA. According to a release, ERPM - developed and supported entirely in California and Texas - helps secure access to proprietary data on many of North America's largest networks, and is Lieberman Software's flagship privileged identity management solution. It automatically locates privileged accounts throughout the cross-platform enterprise, frequently changes each account's password to a unique value and deploys the password changes wherever they are used in the data center.
ERPM, the company noted, controls access to privileged accounts throughout the enterprise. It ensures that only authorized IT staff can access sensitive systems, with an approved purpose, for a limited amount of time. By doing so, ERPM helps protect organizations against unauthorized users and malicious programs compromising a privileged password and gaining anonymous access to sensitive data on the network.
