Italy : ASATI want collaboration with METROWEB [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) According to the Association of Small Shareholders of Telecom Italia (Asati), Telecom Italia and Metroweb should team up to execute the national fibre-optic network. Telecom Italia, CDP, F2i, Metroweb and Intesa Sanpaolo, Asati claims in a letter to the government that it would be a disaster for the nation if Telecom Italia and Metroweb were to contend against each other. Asati has moreover called on the board of directors of Telecom Italia to immediately decide on all procedures pertinent to the setting up of a network company in which all stakeholders can join .
