NAI Introduces Industry's Only Single Slot, 3U cPCI QorIQ P2041 SBC Solution with Mix-and-Match, Multi-function I/O and Communication Functions-On One Board!

North Atlantic Industries (NAI) announces the availability of a 3U cPCI COTS Single Board Computer (SBC) solution with dual high speed/performance function module slots for configurable multi-function I/O interface expansion. Powered by Freescale's (News - Alert) 1.2 GHz QorIQ P2041 Power Architecture processor, the 75SBC4 offers an extremely low power, cost-conscious processing and I/O solution ideally suited for sensor and communication data acquisition, distribution, processing and management for a wide range of land, sea and air military platforms.

Two I/O function slots enable integrators to mix-and-match a variety of I/O, communications functions and/or SATA II NAND Flash memory. The 75SBC4 configured with two functions enables sstems integrators to confidently manage, monitor and process a host of sensor interfacing requirements with NAI's flexible, fully programmable I/O modules. This configurable, unique COTS design offers a broad assortment of signal interfaces including Digital I/O (Discrete, Differential, TTL/CMOS); Analog I/O (A/D, D/A, RTD, Strain Gage); Motion Control and Sensor Interfaces (Synchro/Resolver/LVDT/ RVDT Measurement and Simulation, Encoder/Counter) and Communications Interfaces (Serial RS-232/422/423/485, CANBus, MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC (News - Alert) 429/575).

In addition, the 75SBC4 supports the following:

• Up to 4GB DDR3 SDRAM
• Up to 256 MB user flash
• 1 x RS232, 1 x USB, 1 x I²C & 2 x Gig-E
• Wind River (News - Alert) Linux (4.3) and VxWorks (6.x) BSP
• All I/O data available on Ethernet and/or cPCI
• Two function slots

  • SATA interface for up to 256GB Flash SSD
