Chimera Investment is Among the Companies in the Mortgage REITs Industry With the Lowest PEG Ratio (CIM, CXS, IVR, HTS, AGNC)

Apr 19, 2012 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Below are the three companies in the Mortgage REITs industry with the lowest price to earnings to growth (PEG) ratios. PEG is valuable in assessing the tradeoff between the price of a stock and expected growth. Generally, the lower the PEG, the better.

Chimera Investment ranks lowest with a a PEG ratio of 0.37. Following is CreXus Investment with a a PEG ratio of 1.31. Invesco Mortgage Capital ranks third lowest with a a PEG ratio of 1.46.

Hatteras Financial follows with a a PEG ratio of 1.71, and American Capital Agency rounds out the bottom five with a a PEG ratio of 1.80.
