WebSafety(TM) and AT&T Retail-Point of Sale Program Expands Into Ohio

(GlobeNewswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., April 13, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WBSI (OTCBB:WBSI), the leading provider of child-protection and parental-notification mobile phone solutions, announced today that the WebSafety AT&T retail-point of sale program has expanded into 109 Ohio AT&T authorized dealers. WebSafety Parental controls for mobile devices are now available to retail mobile phone customers through key AT&T-authorized dealers in Ohio and Michigan.

The AT&T-WebSafetyTM official retail rollout will start in Michigan on May 1, 2012 and will be featured April 26th on Detroit's Fox TV affiliate station www.myfoxdetroit.com. The acclaimed WebSafetyTM anti-cyberbullying, child-safety, and parental-notification mobile phone software will be available as a full-featured monthly subscription for $7.99 per month. Activated and provisioned from the company's website (www.websafety.com), WebSafetyTM supports Android-based mobile phones and RIM BlackBerry mobile phones, with future support planned for Apple iPhone and iOS mobile devices, and Windows Phone-based mobile devices.

Provisioned and activated with a child's mobile phone account, WebSafetyTM enables parents to protect their children from "cyberbullying" involving threatening, offensive, or inappropriate Internet or mobile phone communications between children, preteens, or teens intended to harass, humiliate, embarrass, torment, or target victims.

"Parents using AT&T mobile phones and services will now have an effective way to actively monitor their children's mobile phone communications and protect their children from the trauma of cyberbullying," said WBSI Inc. CEO Rowland Day. "WebSafety gives parents a powerful 'parental power tool' that enables them to easily detect potentially harmful activities and situations and respond to cyberbullying the moment it is detected."
