Net Insight and Miranda Technologies offer combined solution for remote workflow and production

Apr 13, 2012 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Net Insight (STO:NETIB), a provider of transport solutions for media, IP and broadcast networks, revealed today that it has formed a partnership with Miranda Technologies (TSX:MT), a company that provides production, playout and delivery solutions for the television broadcast, cable, satellite and IPTV sectors.

The aim of the alliance is to simplify remote workflows and centralised production for live events.

By combining Net Insight's transport capabilities and Miranda Technologies' expertise in delivering IT-based and traditional television production and playout systems, the partners offer a solution to enable integration and accessibility to all studios and content regardless of location.

The two companies say that they will deliver the high-quality, real-time network required to avoid quality degradation feeds, while enabling studio crews to remotely control, produce and edit media content seamlessly over a virtual studio network.
