Synnex Partners with SoftLayer Technologies

Apr 13, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Synnex Corporation, a distributor of IT products and services, announced that SoftLayer's suite of infrastructure services are available for reseller partners through Synnex' CloudSolv platform.

According to a release, the partnership offers Synnex resellers a cloud infrastructure solution for customers that may not be able to invest in hardware refresh, but need to adopt new technologies without being locked into dated hardware.

"Synnex resellers now have an alternative to traditional, capital expenditure intensive, on-premise servers with the addition of SoftLayer to the CloudSolv platform," said Peter Larocque, President, US Distribution for Synnex Corporation. "SoftLayer's platform provides enterprise-grade IT technology for varying budgets and with flexible compute capacity and the ability to count it as an operating expense." SoftLayer provides pay-as-you-go Cloud Computing Instances.
