Targetbase Recognized in Report on the Customer Engagement Agency Landscape

Apr 13, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Targetbase, a U.S.-based marketing services provider, said it has been cited in Forrester Research recent report The Evolution of the Customer Engagement Agency (February 2012).

According to a release, Forrester's research found that the demand for data-driven intelligence is growing as marketers strive to meet their customers' expectations and create a seamless, relevant brand experience across multiple channels.

The Forrester report stated that "forward-thinking agency leaders are adding services and changing how they approach the marketing ecosystem, shifting from a traditional campaign-centric view of the world to one of continuous customer engagement." The successful agency of the near future will be a customer engagement agency. Forrester defines CEAs as "agencies that focus on defining customer-oriented business strategies and mapping them to tactics and execution. They help clients maximize customer profitability and optimize customer experiences by applying data and analytics to every interaction." In the area of cross-functional business understanding and client knowledge, the report noted that Targetbase, "which invests heavily in integration," assigns each of its client groups "a single conference room where cross-functional teams often spend workdays together and are surrounded by each other's work: creative, strategic plans, and even the client's cultural artifacts." "We're glad to see Targetbase recognized by Forrester," said Mark Wright, president and CEO of Targetbase. "Our foundation is built upon the ability to understand and leverage data from across all of the channels where today's consumers engage to grow more profitable customer relationships for our clients." In the report, Forrester emphasizes the critical importance of marketers evolving to meet their customers' expectations.

In the January 2011 report: "The Forrester Wave: U.S. Database Marketing Service Providers, Q1 2011," Targetbase received the highest overall ratings for analytics, execution and fulfillment, and services and support. According to Forrester, "Targetbase stands out for its analytics and strategy offering as well as its program support and creative capabilities."
