Newegg to Take the Floor at PAX East 2012

(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/06/12 -- Newegg Inc., the leading electronics-focused e-retailer in the United States, today announced that it will sponsor the interactive Newegg Pavilion (booth #712) at PAX East, the three-day gaming festival for gamers of all genres, at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center on April 6-8 in Boston, Massachusetts.

A number of activities and giveaways will be offered at the booth for attendees to experience the latest in gaming technology and get the opportunity to show off their computer-building abilities. Celebrity pro-gamer "sWooZie" will also be on site to meet with fans, give gaming tips, and add excitement by serving as the booth MC for the various activities and contests.

Products featured include the PNY XLR8™ GeForce® GTX 680 graphics card and revamped line-up of XLR8 Solid State Drives, WD VelociRaptor and WD Caviar black hard drives, Antec Eleven Hundred gaming case and Kaspersky ONE Universal Security. Gaming Stations - Newegg booth attendees will have an opportunity to enjoy the booth's free walk-up gaming stations featuring games such as Street Fighter 4, StarCraft 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Beta and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. PC Build Contest - As a way to feature the ever-present technology talent found at PAX East, the Newegg booth will host two PC building contests with the winners taking home high-end gaming computers. The NeweggTV crew will also be present to cover the competition. Giveaways- In exchange for filling out a brief survey, attendees are entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of two gaming computers. Attendees are also invited to stop by for other free giveaways including Newegg t-shirts, flashlights, lanyards and more.
