" C a r l o s i s a n amazing modeler," said deHoog. "Year after year we see his models selected by his peers for the show awards." She said Jardinez makes handpressed buttons for the show each year . The show had such a good turnout that the 75 he made this year weren' t enough. Lary George of Anacortes placed first in the Street Rods division with his beige 1946 Chevy.

Bruce Richlin of Mount Vernon took first in the Pro Street category with his flat black Dodge 69/69 Charger. Richlin is a past club president and show announcer.

Steve Ramsey of Bow placed first in the Large Scale category with his red primer Mini Craft Tow, and took second in the Rat Rods division with his red primer Model A P/U Tear Drop Trailer.

Each modeler at the show casts a vote for his or her favorite in each of the 25 classes. Next year's show, with the theme Long Roofs, is scheduled for Feb. 24.
