Women's Security Council to Honor 2012 Award Recipients

The Women's Security Council, a network of successful security professionals focused on promoting the advancement of women in the industry, will announce the winners of its first annual Women of the Year awards at its networking reception during the upcoming ISC West conference at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas.

The council will announce and honor recipients of the 2012 Women of the Year awards, an accolades program designed to recognize the top female professionals in the industry in a variety of categories, at its annual networking and cocktail reception, being held from 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, March 27 at Pinot Brasserie. The event is open to all conference attendees, and is complimentary for existing WSC members and sponsors.

This year's session is titled "Sell Yourself - But Don't Sell Yourself Short" and will feature panelists Kelly Bond, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Alarm Capital Alliance; Renae Leary, Senior Director, ADT Global Accounts, Boca Raton, Fla.; and Juliette Gustavsson, Head of Corporate Marketing at Milestone Systems in Copenhagen. The panel, which will be moderated by Martha Entwistle, Editor, Security Systems News, will provide insights as to how female leaders can effectively work the industry to get ahead and make a difference in their public endeavors.
