Vertu partners with Amobee to market luxury mobile phone

Feb 09, 2012 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Amobee, Inc., a provider of mobile advertising solutions for the mobile operators, has formed partnership with Vertu, a provider of luxury mobile phones, to create innovative mobile advertising campaigns to market Vertu's luxury touch screen smartphone, the Constellation. Both the companies are based in UK.

Amobee's mobile ad campaign integrates sophisticated mobile advertising technologies, enabling Vertu to successfully identify growth opportunities within the female, luxury fashion segment.

Vertu's mobile advertising campaign for the Constellation includes an exclusive sponsorship of Conde Nast's release of the Vogue Daily News app, a mobile app for daily fashion news, effectively reaching a new female market.

The campaign also included a Vertu video in a Net-A-Porter iPad app, which achieved 24% click through rate. Amobee worked with Navteq to geo-fence affluent shopping areas to drive footfall into Vertu boutiques.
