Actiontec Continues Long-Standing Role in Verizon FiOS With Launch of Next Gen Broadband Router for FiOS(Market Wire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SUNNYVALE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 11/22/10 -- Actiontec Electronics today announced its latest wireless broadband router has been selected for Verizon's FiOS service and will be deployed in Verizon's newly launched 150 Mbps downstream, 35 Mbps upstream service. The next generation FiOS router breaks previous industry performance benchmarks, increasing in-home networking speeds up to 1000 Mbps wired (with the Gigabit Ethernet interface) and 300 Mbps wireless.
