CompanionLink Announces Outlook Sync with Galaxy Tab

PORTLAND, Ore. --(Business Wire)--

CompanionLink^® Software, Inc., a leading provider of mobile sync solutions for Google (News - Alert)^® Android^™ tablet devices, announces two-way synchronization with the Samsung^® Galaxy^™ Tab. CompanionLink synchronizes contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between the Galaxy Tab and PC software such as Microsoft (News - Alert)^® Outlook^®, Outlook Business Contact Manager, Sage ACT!, IBM^® Lotus Notes, Novell^® GroupWise, and Palm^® Desktop. CompanionLink offers four ways to sync with Galaxy Tab:

					1.			Direct USB Sync provides a fast and secure method to sync Outlook contacts, calendar, tasks and notes with the Galaxy Tab. This method ensures maximum data security because it does not use a cloud-based service to store or exchange data.

					2.			Local Wi-Fi Sync allows synchronizing Outlook contacts, calendar, tasks and notes to Galaxy Tab using a home or office Wi-Fi network. The PC and Galaxy Tab are connected to the same network, through which CompanionLink synchronizes data. This method offers a secure wireless sync with no monthly fees.

					3.			Sync via Google transfers Outlook contacts and calendar to any Google, Gmail, or Google Apps account. Google provides automatic wireless sync to Galaxy Tab.

					4.			CL Secure Hosted Sync is a wireless subscription service ($9.95/month) that provides secure and automatic sync of all data types to the phone. Data will sync automatically anywhere the Galaxy Tab has a wireless data connection.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab is compatible with DejaOffice, a suite of business-friendly contacts, calendar, tasks and notes apps for Android (News - Alert) tablets.
