'Hong Kong ends July with 3.686 mln fixed-line subs'Sep 29, 2010 (DMASIA via COMTEX) -- The Hong Kong fixed-line market went up slightly to 3.686 million subscribers in July, from 3.685 million a month earlier, according to figures from regulator Ofta. The number of business users slipped to 1.774 million from 1.776 million a month earlier, while the number of residential users inched up to 1.911 million from 1.908 million in June. The number of IP telephony users grew to 530,723 from 526,628 a month earlier. The total comprises 60,192 business users and 470,531 residential users.
