AVG and MokaFive collaborate on secure virtual desktops

Aug 20, 2010 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- AVG Technologies, the developer of the eponymous free anti-virus software, today announced that it has partnered with MokaFive, a virtual desktop management company, to offer additional security to the MokaFive virtual desktop management suite.

The company said that AVG Anti-Virus has now been integrated into the MokaFive virtual desktop management suite to provide a complete solution for a secure virtual desktop that can be deployed directly on an end user's personal machine. The solution enables consumers that work for enterprises to use AVG's free software to protect their personal workspace while at the same time ensuring that sensitive corporate information contained in the virtual desktop is kept safe.

AVG gave no further details of the deal with MokaFive.
