Pareto Networks unveils cloud-based distributed networking solution

(Telecomworldwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Cloud-based networking specialist Pareto Networks unveiled on Tuesday its cloud-based distributed networking solution.

According to the company, cloud-based networking delivers enterprise-class network capabilities worldwide, via a resilient, multi-tenant application that requires no capital investment in networking equipment.

The solution accelerates and simplifies network deployment and operations, delivers centralised visibility and control and offers the network application as a pay-as-you-grow subscription.

Pareto enables enterprises to securely and rapidly roll out distributed locations, such as teleworkers, small branch offices or mobile workgroups, with no capital investment and the ability to quickly scale the network up or down.

The company's first line of cloud-based solutions, Pareto Branch on Demand, consists of three components: Pareto Cloud Services, a multi-tenant application that centralises network and security policy configuration, provisioning, troubleshooting, address management, log management, monitoring and reporting; Pareto Branch Gateway devices that deliver Ethernet, 802.11n Wi-Fi and 3G WWAN, as well as firewall, proxy and user-based authentication, bundled at no cost for deployment in remote locations and the data centre; and Pareto Virtual Branch Gateway, a VMware, software-based gateway for the enterprise data centre.

Pareto Branch On Demand is available immediately for an annual subscription starting at USD228 per site, which includes all hardware, support, maintenance and future feature upgrades.
