Global Electronics Manufacturing Firm, Season Group, Expands Into the United States with New Facility in San Antonio

Season Group (www.seasongroup.com), one of the world's leading Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), has acquired the assets of San Antonio's DC Electronics. Building on its extensive international manufacturing capabilities, the company will begin operations in San Antonio immediately as all DC Electronics employees have been retained, including founder John DiPonzio.

"This is a win-win situation," says DiPonzio. "We now can leverage an established global purchasing and manufacturing organization to provide cost competitive services to ourcustomers. If they want their products manufactured in the United States, we can do that. If they want to send products for offshore manufacturing, we can do that as well. This new capability will definitely help our customers compete globally and budget effectively."

Season Group's new facility will bring critical services, such as New Product Introduction (NPI), Prototype and Quick-Turn Manufacturing, as well as Low to High Volume Manufacturing, to a broad range of market sectors, while establishing critically competitive product lead times for its customers.

With operations already in full swing, Season Group plans to celebrate the opening of a new facility in San Antonio with additional details to be announced early this summer.
