'Vimpelcom to offer mobile ads with Out There Media'

(DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Russian mobile operator Vimpelcom has contracted mobile advertising services provider Out There Media to deploy targeted mobile advertising through the multi-channel Mobile Advertising marketplace technology Mobucks. In addition, Out There Media is responsible for monetisation, sales, business development and operations support. The two companies plan to roll out a range of mobile advertising commercial pilot projects in Russia in 2010 using Wap, SMS, MMS and USSD channels. The partnership will be the first to make the most of the newest version of the Out There Media multi-channel Mobile Advertising marketplace technology Mobucks 2.5, which will be released shortly. Mobucks 2.5 presents new advantages such as the large diversity of advertising channels (e.g. Wap/display, SMS, MMS, USSD, WAP push, ring-back tones, video ads), the collection of targeting data across all channels, as well as cross-channel user segmentation and targeting.
