BRIEF: County seeks applicants for ambulance trust position

Nov 29, 2009 (Stillwater NewsPress - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The Payne County Commission is accepting applications from residents who live in rural areas of Payne County for its Western Payne County Ambulance Trust representative, Commission chairwoman Gloria Hesser said.

She hopes to have someone appointed by Dec. 14.

The trust will select an ambulance company to serve Stillwater and western Payne County, and raise money to pay the service.

People interested in serving as the county's representative should submit their name, address, phone number, a short biography and two references to the County Commission office, Payne County Administration Building, 315 W. 6th Avenue, Stillwater 74074 by Dec. 11.
