MAGICJACK TIPS: HOW TO BLOCK OUTGOING CALLERID / CALLER ID

MAGICJACK TIPS: HOW TO BLOCK CALLERID / CALLER ID ON OUTGOING CALLS magicJack does not provide for caller ID blocking on outbound calls. The feature is simply not available and has further been disabled at the system level of the magicJack network.

You can however use the Skype (News - Alert) (News - Alert) plugin for magicJack to place your outbound call via Skype. You just dial * before the number. Your caller ID will not be displayed to the other party.

If you really need your caller ID to be blocked this solution is simple and works well. In addition, any friends and customers you have that use Skype will also be able to call you for free.

The Skype plugin for magicJack can be downloaded at http://www.pcphonesoft.com
