'ER-Telecom increases 9-month revenues 69%'

Oct 30, 2009 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- Russian telecommunications company ER-Telecom announced that its revenues reached RUB 3.324 billion in the first nine months of the year, up 69 percent year-on-year. EBITDA totalled RUB 1.091 billion, giving an EBITDA margin of 33 percent. The net profit stood at RUB 335 million. The subscriber base totalled 1.79 million at the end of Q3, up by 41 percent year-on-year. The number of cable TV subscribers reached 911,000, up by 81 percent, and the operator had 64,000 fixed telephony subscribers, up by 52 percent. Revenue from broadband connection services totalled RUB 1.984 billion in the period, equal to 60 percent of total revenues, while cable TV accounted for 34 percent and fixed telephony for 5 percent. ARPU was RUB 260 in Q3, down by 8 percent year-on-year.
