Skyhook Wireless announced partnership with Apot

(Corporate IT Update Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Hybrid positioning system developer Skyhook Wireless announced on Wednesday a partnership with Apot, a Twitter client for Android.

According to the company, Apot, developed by IT consulting company adlib Ltd, is a Twitter client that enables users to post updates to their Twitter accounts. Skyhook enables Apot users to post messages and pictures with their current location included, allowing others to view that location on a map.

Apot can be downloaded for free in the Android Marketplace. Skyhook Wireless also offers a publicly available SDK for Android developers, available at: www.skyhookwireless.com/developers/sdk.php.
