Savvas Chamberlain Announces Future Plans for Transition to Non-Executive Chairman Role at DALSA

(Marketwire (Canada) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) WATERLOO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 5, 2009) - DALSA Corporation (TSX:DSA), announced today that Savvas Chamberlain will step down from his role as Chief Technology Officer of the Company on October 12, 2009, at which time he will transition to the role of Chairman, in a non-management status. Dr. Chamberlain has served as Executive Chairman and CTO since September, 2007 when Brian Doody was named Chief Executive Officer. Previously, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since 1996, and President since 1980 when he founded the Company.
