CHESAPEAKE, Va., June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Eighteen Hampton Roads students have been selected for Virginia's Future Leaders scholarships. The scholarship program is a partnership between Cox Hampton Roads, the Virginia Cable Telecommunications Association (VCTA), and the Donald A. Perry Foundation. The Donald Perry Foundation underwrites over $100,000 annually in scholarships for Virginia students.

Theuerkauf, Gloucester The VCTA will hold its Annual Scholarship Luncheon on July 17 in Charlottesville to recognize all of the state's scholarship winners. Cox will hold a reception on Wednesday, June 17 at 5:30 p.m., at its regional headquarters in Chesapeake, to honor and recognize the 18 winners from the Greater Hampton Roads region.

The Virginia's Future Leaders Scholarship program is a collaboration between local cable systems across Virginia in partnership and the Donald A. Perry Foundation. The Donald A. Perry Foundation is a statewide education initiative of the Virginia cable industry.
