CMI Delivers a High-Tech Savvy Bus

Columbus, OH (Vocus) June 2, 2009 -- Creative Mobile Interiors (CMI), a coach conversion specialist in Grove City, Ohio, recently delivered a state-of-the-art executive day coach to a CEO and his family in northern Ohio. The 2009 MCI J4500 boasts one of the most extensive audio/visual systems ever created at CMI.

The comprehensive system consists of six TVs, two audio A/V receivers (including iPod docking); two PS3/Blueray units, one Kaleidescape whole house entertainment server, Rhapsody online music service and a DirecTV in-motion satellite system with two satellite receivers. An Extron audio/video switcher enables individual passengers the capability to listen or view different media on different devices at the same time. A 5-channel stereo system and 10" subwoofer are also located in each of the front and rear lounge areas and a WiFi enabled router with 3 watt amplifier provides internet capability throughout the coach. CAT5 outlets are located throughout the coach for flexibility and to provide an additional signal boost over a standard wireless laptop card. The system also includes outdoor components including an audio speaker system and a TV monitor located in the underfloor bay. This TV easily rotates to store against the wall of the bay when not in use. All the components of this high-end system are easily controlled via the touch screen remote control.

The sophisticated electronic system is only one of the many extraordinary features in this highly sophisticated bus. The entrance of the bus grabs your attention immediately with its custom accented door panel, illuminated LED stairwell lighting and hydrographic-finished dashboard. Both driver area seats are custom built and the co-pilot seat includes an air operated slide out step platform. Also incorporated into the driver's area is a complete sound system with AM/FM/CD/MP3/GPS and back up camera monitoring system.

The front lounge features three individual interactive seating areas and three TVs - one 40" and two 32" monitors. The first area includes four barrel chairs taken from the owner's existing coach, spruced up and reinstalled into the new coach (two on each side). Between the chairs are two custom built tables with storage. The second area includes two custom sofas across from each other. One is a "U" shaped couch with a removable Avonite table. The third interactive area consists of a custom built dinette across from another custom sofa. The sofa can be moved towards the dinette area via electric slides bringing the guests closer together for conversation and/or games.

Following the interactive areas, is the galley complete with a built in microwave, built-in coffee maker and full size refrigerator. The galley includes a single bowl, under mounted stainless steel sink with custom faucet fixtures and an Avonite sink cover. Rear of the galley area (curbside) is the lavatory. The lavatory has custom built cabinetry with a vessel style sink and custom faucet fixtures. Located in the hallway to the rear of the coach is a storage area and the main AV cabinet. The final area is the rear lounge. It features a full custom "U" shaped seating area with a motorized slide that, with a touch of a button, changes into a bed. This area also includes a 40" and a 32" LCD monitor.
