Software Veteran Nick Fera Named New CEO of Firm58, Inc

CHICAGO, May 6, 2009 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Firm58, Inc (www.firm58.com), the leader in on-demand post-trade software, today announced that Nick Fera has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Fera comes to Firm58 with more than 22 years of software industry experience, most recently as Chairman and CEO of Parlano, maker of the enterprise group chat platform MindAlign which was acquired by Microsoft in October 2007.

Fera joins Firm58 at a time when capital market companies are recognizing the growing value of using on-demand software as a way to cut cost and time. Firm58 brings efficiency and transparency, and cost savings to middle and back office processes by offering automated solutions such as billing and reconciliation, and by eliminating the need for large up front software purchases. At Firm58, Fera will serve on the board of directors and be responsible for daily operations and company strategy.

Fera holds a bachelor's degree in finance from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master's degree in management from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Fera also has extensive speaking experience having presented more than 100 times on finance issues like company valuation to the American Management Association and various universities.
