National DNA database nears completion

Feb 22, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australia's DNA database will soon be completed. After over eight years of development, cross-matching of DNA across all states will be possible. Civil liberties groups hold concerns about the database, having issues about whose DNA is included, access and the potential for leakage of information.
