Millennium Dental Technologies,
Inc. today announced that the company has added several Laser
Periodontal Consultants to its sales team to help meet growing national
demand for the PerioLase ?
Periodontal Package that includes the PerioLase MVP-7(TM) dental laser
bundled with the first and only dedicated laser periodontal treatment
protocol and specifically designed for use in Laser Assisted New Attachment
Procedure(TM) (LANAP(TM)). In the last calendar year, the Cerritos-based
company has increased sales of the PerioLase by 20 percent through the 3rd
Quarter and is projecting a year-end sales increase of 40 percent,
demonstrating a significant increase in traction among general
practitioners and periodontists who recognize not only the value of
providing patients with minimally invasive alternatives to traditional
surgery, but also the efficacy and effectiveness of the PerioLase dental
laser.

Robert DeSoto brings more than 17 years of experience in minimally invasive
dentistry to Millennium. He joins the team from Hoya ConBio, a global
leader in dental and aesthetic lasers, where DeSoto served as the
international and western sales director of dental products, including the
VersaWave Er:YAG all-tissue laser. During his tenure at Hoya, DeSoto was
instrumental in developing and executing the company's ambitious domestic
and international sales strategy. At Millennium, DeSoto's duties will
encompass all sales and business development activities in the western
United States.
